SAFETY IN NUMBERS
SAFETY IN NUMBERS takes place at 6.30pm on the first Saturday of the month (April-December) in the Annandale Community Centre, 79 Johnston St, Annandale (NSW) as part of the Sydney Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Get-together.
People come together to have fun learning a couple of bluegrass or old-time country songs and then have the opportunity to perform those songs at the start of the open mic concert at 7.30pm (there are pictures of some of those performances above). It's also a good place to meet other singers and musicians and start forming bands and learn some performance skills.

0n 4 July 1975, we had our first monthly Get-together in Sydney, at the Fine Arts Workshop, Sydney University. Here we are still having a bluegrass & old-time musical get-together on the 1st Saturday of the month - another 50th anniversary.
Celebrate with us on Saturday 5 July at the next Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Get-together at the Annandale Community Centre, 79 Johnston St, Annandale. Everyone is welcome!
*6.30pm: SAFETY IN NUMBERS - all welcome to learn & rehearse some songs to start the concert.
*7.30pm: CONCERT - acoustic bluegrass & old-time music.
JAMMING all night.
$8 members/concession; $10 Others; Under 18 and 80+ Free. Tea, coffee & snacks available.
We acknowledge and appreciate the Inner West Council's assistance with access to their community facility.
