SAFETY IN NUMBERS
SAFETY IN NUMBERS takes place at 6.30pm on the first Saturday of the month (April-December) in the Annandale Community Centre, 79 Johnston St, Annandale (NSW) as part of the Sydney Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Get-together.
People come together to have fun learning a couple of bluegrass or old-time country songs and then have the opportunity to perform those songs at the start of the open mic concert at 7.30pm (there are pictures of some of those performances above). It's also a good place to meet other singers and musicians and start forming bands and learn some performance skills.

The next Sydney Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Get-together is on SATURDAY 4 JULY 2026 in the Annandale Communiy Centre, 79 Johnston St, Annandale.
6.30PM - SAFETY IN NUMBERS - Learn & rehearse a couple of songs together to open the concert - beginners welcome - singers welcome.
7.30pm: Acoustic bluegrass & old-time music CONCERT.
If you play bluegrass or old-time music, you can email: [email protected] for a spot on the concert.
$8 members/concession; $10 others; Under 18 & 80+ free.
Coffee, tea and snacks available (please bring cash to pay).
